The application process for Spring 2017 is now open for Round 2.

We recently awarded 20 scholarships to paramedic students in Oklahoma.  We have funding for additional scholarships!  Please see the original announcement below and submit your application no later than July 1, 2017 in order to be considered!!

New for 2017!! EMS Success is happy to announce that we have received a grant worth nearly $100,000 in EMS scholarships specifically for paramedic students within the state of Oklahoma. Please see below to download the application. This scholarship aims to help those who are currently in paramedic school and have shown exceptional levels of professionalism, academics, and community service while in paramedic school.

Each scholarship will be worth up to $3,000!!

One of the goals of this project is to increase the number of qualified paramedics working in rural Oklahoma. Each recipient of this scholarship will be required to sign a binding contract that requires them to work as a paramedic for at least 1,000 hours a year for 2 years in a rural or under-served community in Oklahoma. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible for this scholarship.

You must be considered a current paramedic student at the time the application is submitted.

 

 

 

Application process.

 

     Step 1: Click on the eligibility requirements link and read very thoroughly. This is where                   you will find the selection criteria.

     Step 2: Fill out and sign the application. The link is above this section. The application                  must be filled out by the applicant and all fields must be completed.

     Step 3: You must submit a letter of interest with your application. This letter must                  tell the selection board in 1,000 words or less, why you feel you deserve the                  scholarship and what it is that you will bring to the EMS community.

     Step 4: You must include 2 professional letters of reference. One of these letters must                   come from the Program Director of your paramedic school.

     Step 5: You must include a copy of your current driver's license AND a copy of your                   current EMT licensure. (Additional EMS certifications are encouraged)

     Step 6: Include a copy of your resume.

 

Please do not staple any of your forms together. Do not print on both sides of paper.

Please send your completed packet UN-folded and in a full size letter envelope.

Do not request a signature for delivery.
